Refund Policy

ALEF Printing & Packaging ("ALEF", "we", "us") produces custom packaging, print, branding and promotional items to order. Every item is manufactured to your specification and artwork, so it cannot be resold or restocked. This policy explains what that means for returns, reprints and refunds.

Made-to-order items are not returnable

Because each order is produced specifically for you, we do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations for change of mind, ordering errors (wrong quantity, size, finish or colour choice), or artwork mistakes on files you supplied or proofs you approved.

Proof approval is final

Before production we send a dieline and a digital proof for your written approval. Please check spelling, layout, colours, dimensions and finishes carefully. Once you approve the proof, it becomes the specification for the order. Any differences between the finished product and an earlier version of the artwork, or between the proof and what you intended, are not grounds for a reprint or refund.

Defective or non-conforming orders

If your order arrives damaged, or is materially different from the approved proof or agreed specification (for example a wrong finish, a printing defect, or a structural fault), we will put it right. Please:

  • Notify us within 7 days of delivery at info@alefprinting.com or on WhatsApp at +971 52 230 9449.
  • Include your order or quotation reference and clear photographs of the issue and the packaging it arrived in.
  • Keep the affected items until we have assessed the claim; we may ask for samples or arrange collection.

Once we confirm the fault, we will at our option reprint or replace the affected items, or issue a credit or refund for the affected portion of the order. Claims raised after 7 days, or for items that have been used, altered or further processed, may not be accepted.

Normal production variations

The following are inherent to commercial printing and manufacturing and are not defects:

  • Minor colour variation between a screen or digital proof and the printed result, or between print runs. Pantone matching is available where specified on your quotation.
  • Small variations in board, paper, foil or fabric batches, and natural variation in materials such as leather, kraft and wood.
  • Industry-standard over- or under-run on quantity. Any tolerance is confirmed on your quotation, and invoices are adjusted for shortfalls where applicable.
  • Slight variations in dimensions, registration and finishing within commercial tolerances.

Cancellations

An order can be cancelled free of charge until you approve the proof. After proof approval, materials are ordered and production begins; any cancellation is subject to the costs incurred up to that point, and orders already in production or completed cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Refunds

Where a refund is agreed, it is issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of confirmation. Advance payments and deposits are non-refundable once production has started, except where we are unable to fulfil the order.
