These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ALEF Printing & Packaging website (alefprinting.com) and every quotation, order and purchase you make from ALEF Printing & Packaging ("ALEF", "we", "us"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

ALEF Printing & Packaging is a custom packaging, printing, branding and promotional products manufacturer based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. We supply businesses, brands, retailers, distributors and corporate buyers, and our products are intended for commercial use, including resale as part of your own products and services.

2. Quotations and orders

  • Products on this website are made to order. Prices shown on the website are indicative only; your price depends on the size, design, material and finishing, and the quantity ordered, and is confirmed in a written quotation.
  • A quotation is valid for the period stated on it and is subject to change if the specification, quantity or artwork changes.
  • An order is confirmed when you accept the quotation in writing (including by email or WhatsApp) and pay any advance amount stated on it. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, for example where artwork is unsuitable for production or where we cannot verify the order.
  • Minimum quantities vary by product, structure and finish and are confirmed with your quotation.

3. Artwork, proofs and your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of all artwork, text, translations, barcodes, regulatory information and specifications you supply, and for checking the proof before approval.
  • We send a dieline and a digital proof for written approval before production. Your approval is final and forms the specification for the order.
  • You confirm that you own or hold all rights, licences and permissions needed for any logos, images, designs, trademarks and content you ask us to reproduce, and that its reproduction does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable law. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from material you supply.
  • Dielines, structural designs, templates and design work created by ALEF remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Your own logos, trademarks and artwork remain yours.
  • We may photograph finished work and use it in our portfolio, website and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.

4. Prices, VAT and payment

  • All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED). Value Added Tax at the prevailing UAE rate is applied and shown on your quotation and tax invoice.
  • Payment terms, including any advance payment or deposit, are stated on the quotation. Unless otherwise agreed, the balance is due before delivery or collection.
  • Title to the goods passes to you when we have received payment in full. We may withhold delivery of an order until payment is received.

5. Production, tolerances and delivery

  • Lead times are confirmed with your quotation and run from proof approval and receipt of any advance payment.
  • Commercial printing and manufacturing involve normal variations in colour, materials, dimensions and quantity. These are described in our Refund Policy and are not defects.
  • Delivery, collection and risk are governed by our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns, reprints and refunds

Because every item is made to your specification, orders are not returnable for change of mind. Defective or non-conforming orders are handled under our Refund Policy.

7. Use of this website

  • The content of this website, including text, images, product photography, dielines and design, is owned by or licensed to ALEF and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
  • You must not use the website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or interfere with its operation.
  • We try to keep the website accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that descriptions, images or other content are complete or error-free. Product images are for illustration; finished products are made to your approved proof.
  • Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time you place an order applies to that order.

10. Governing law

These Terms and any order are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ajman, and the courts of Ajman have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to our right to enforce payment in any competent jurisdiction.
